Privacy policy
This privacy policy sets out how UtilShelf (https://utilshelf.com) handles the data you enter and the access information your visit generates. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
Operator
This site is run by an individual under the name UtilShelf.
Your input
Text, numbers, dates, images, and anything else you enter into a tool are processed entirely inside your browser. Neither your input nor the result is sent to our servers, and the operator neither collects nor stores it.
This applies to every tool published today. If we add a tool that needs server-side processing, the tool's own page and this policy will state what is sent and why.
Access information
The site is served through Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. To deliver each page, Cloudflare automatically records connection information such as your IP address, browser type, referrer, and the time of access. This is the processing required to serve a website, and the operator does not use these records to identify individuals. The operator may view aggregated traffic statistics in the Cloudflare dashboard.
Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
Cookies and browser storage
The only thing this site stores in your browser is your consent record. It holds the version of the consent notice, whether you allowed analytics and advertising, and when you decided, as a single entry in local storage. It contains nothing that identifies you, and it is never sent to our servers.
If you consent to analytics or advertising, Google stores cookies and similar data in your browser. What each of them handles is set out in the two sections below. If you do not consent, no Google script is loaded and none of those cookies is created.
Neither your tool settings nor your input is kept on your device.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC. Measurement starts only once you have consented. GA4 collects the URL of the page you view, the referrer, your browser and device type, screen size, language setting, a region estimated from your IP address, and how often and how long you visit.
The purpose is to see which tools are used and how much, so that improvements can be prioritised. Text, numbers, dates, and images you enter into a tool, and the results and values it produces, are never sent to analytics. The only usage data sent is the short name that identifies a tool (part of its URL) and the display language.
Google handles this information under its privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and under “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Advertising
The site uses Google AdSense, provided by Google LLC. Ads are served only once you have consented. AdSense uses cookies and similar storage, together with the pages you view, a region estimated from your IP address, and your browser and device type, to select, show and personalise ads and to measure impressions and clicks.
In every region, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, no ad is served until consent is given. If you decline, no advertising script is loaded and no ad space is shown. Every feature of the site works either way.
You can turn off ad personalisation separately in Google’s ad settings (https://myadcenter.google.com/). What Google processes for advertising is described under “Advertising” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).
Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you consent to analytics and advertising. Until you accept it, no Google script is loaded, nothing is measured and no ad is served. Consent is asked the same way everywhere, including Japan; no region is treated differently.
To withdraw your consent, choose “Analytics and ad settings” at the bottom of any page and then “Decline” in the banner. We then stop loading the scripts, delete the Google cookies set on this site’s domain, and reload the page. Clearing your browser storage also returns you to the undecided state.
Deleting data already held by Google, and turning off ad personalisation, can be done from your Google account settings and Google’s ad settings.

Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the law, the tools we publish, or the third-party services we use change. When we do, we will update the last-updated date on this page and announce material changes on the site.
